17. Victor DeWitt "Uncle Victor" Curry was born in March 1849 in Logan Co., VA (now WV). He appeared in the census in 1850 in Logan Co., VA (now WV).⁶ He appeared in the census in 1870 in Hardee Township, Logan Co., WV.⁴² Uncle Victor died on 17 February 1939 in Logan Co., WV. He was buried in Curry Family Cemetary, Cow Creek, Logan Co., WV.

Victor DeWitt "Uncle Victor" Curry and Elizabeth "Betty" Chafin were married about 1865 in Logan Co., WV. They appeared in the census in 1880 in Logan Township, Logan Co., WV. They appeared in the census in 1900 in Logan Township, Logan Co., WV. Elizabeth "Betty" Chafin was born on 9 August 1847 in Logan Co., VA (now WV). She died on 7 January 1926 in Logan Co., WV.^43,44 She lived in Barnabus, Logan Co., WV. Betty was buried in Curry Family Cemetery, Barnabus, Logan Co., WV.
